The great thing with the internet is being able to keep in contact with someone you knew since you were too young to remember your times together when you met!
The other great thing about the internet is knowing when old friends are in your corner of the world, so you can meet up, offer a mattress in the corner of the living area,
and show said friend around town!
We got the most out of her 3 day tram card, even going on the boat down the harbour.
Something that most tourists would never know that you can do for no extra cost!
Unfortunately Gothenburg being Gothenburg, was constantly threatening rain
until it could hold out no more and a museum visit was in order.
The Röhsska design museum is nice and central,
and also nicely compact so it's not so overwhelming...
Another trick that many tourists wouldn't know about is that the ticket to one museum
will apparently get you in to lots of other museums around Gothenburg
until the end of the year!
I love playing tour guide, even in the rain!
It makes me see my new found home town in new eyes
and takes me to places where I wouldn't normally bother to go on a weekday off work.
